- A rectangular concrete pillar on three-stepped base, with an RAF badge at the top, airscrew blades from a Halifax bomber on three sides and an inscribed plaque on the fourth side.

- THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED IN 1979 BY THE FRINTON AND WALTON RAFA TO COMMEMORATE THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RAF FORMATION AND THE 30TH ANNINVERSARY OF THE FORMATION OF THIS BRANCH. THE AIRSCREW BLADES WERE RECOVERED IN 1979 BY THE OFFICERS AND CADETS OF 308 SQUADRON OF COLCHESTER AND CLACTON AIR TRANING CORPS FROM A SITE WHERE A HALIFAX BOMBER OF 432 SQUADRON THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE CRASHED IN THE NAZE WHILST RETURNING FROM AN OPERATIONAL MISSION ON THE NIGHT OF MARCH 5/6 1945 KILLING ALL MEMBERS THE MEMORIAL IS DEDICATED TO ALL LOCAL MEN AND WOMEN (WHO DIED) AND TO THE MEMORY OF THE HALIFAX CREW/ (Names)/ SEVEN OF THE ABOVE ARE BURIED AT BROOKWOOD CEMETERY, SURREY AND ONE AT MONMOUTH, SOUTH WALES (Line spacing not known)
