Description
Rectangular stone tablet , surface off white , decoration , dedication and names appear to be painted in blue or grey. Wide single line border with Greek key pattern in top corners , the names in two columns . nb the surface of the memorial is badly stained and covered in dust . Current image shows it to be located behind scaffolding or heavy wire fencing .(Nov 2019)

2014: sculptor Eddie Clarke is seeking a new home for the tablet. 1979: The tablet was mounted in a set of forged metal-work gates representing a stylised map of the world, by sculptor Eddie Clarke. Eddie Clarkeâs studio is behind the former factory. Date Unknown: Danger of redevelopment. Originally located in the ground-floor entrance to the Chappell Piano Factory building.
