WOODEN AND STONE LYCH GATE WITH TILED ROOF. SIX NAME PLAQUES ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT HAND INSIDES. PERSPEX OVER THE METAL PLAQUES. CRUCIFIX ON THE FRONT OF THE GATE. LYCHGATE IS CONSTRUCTED OF STONES FROM WAR DAMAGED BUILDINGS FROM THROUGHOUT THE UK INCLUDING: THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL, LEEDS TOWN HALL, COVENTRY CATHEDRAL, YORK CHURCHES, AS WELL AS TIMBER FROM ROYAL NAVY SHIPS AND THE 'TAMPIONS' FROM HMS RODNEY VIA THE ADMIRALTY.
