- Description
- Large stone cenotaph surmounted by stone globe and metal figure of peace. Figure of peace is standing with arms outstretched and dressed in long gown. At base of cenotaph are two further figures, both seated. On one side is a large metal figure of old man carrying a bag on back, and on the other side a figure of a seated woman with babe-in-arms. The cenotaph stands on stone base. Within the base, metal plaques have been set with the dedication and names of fallen listed. There are figures in relief either side of names of soldiers and sailors in full uniform with backpacks. Additional relief depicting a number of wounded soldiers walking along is depicted on another side of the base.
