- Bareheaded soldier resting on arms reversed on tall pedestal, with steel helmet and gas mask on ground behind him. Names inscribed on four sides of pedestal. There are associated plaques in the gardens around the memorial to 'The Battle of Britain', 'The Royal Naval Association' and Civilians killed in air raids.
