Description
Set within a wall arch , with flanking columns leading to a stone canopy formed by multiple concave curves (some appear to be damaged ). At the base is a rectangular white marble tablet bearing the inscription, incised and coloured black. Surmounting this is a black marble triangular tablet resting on two spherical supports , On the face of the tablet is a circular white marble tablet with a low relief carving of broken columns and palm trees . Above this carved in low relief in the black marble is a lion passant regardant and a heraldic shield, helm sword and motto ,
