- A Century of British Brewers plus plus 1890-2012 by Norman Barber, Mike Brown and Ken Smith p.143 Published:Longfield Brewery History Society 2012 Longfield, Kent Greene King & Sons Ltd acquired the Sudbury Brewery of Oliver Brothers in May 1919. Brewing ceased 1932. NB: Greene King later acquired, in 1958, J C Mauldon & Sons of the Angel Brewery, which was closed in 1960.
