Description
BASE SURMOUNTED BY TAPERED PLINTH, FOUR PILLARS SET CLOSE TOGETHER. WHOLE IS SURMOUNTED BY ?ACANTHUS LEAF DESIGN AND CROSS. INSCRIPTION ON THE SIDES OF THE PLINTH. WHOLE STANDS ON A RAISED GRASS-COVERED MOUND WITH FLOWER BEDS AT THE BASE OF THE MOUND CREST OF A FIST HOLDING A SWORD ALOFT BY THE BLADE ON THE 6 O'CLOCK FACE OF THE PLINTH; 3 O'CLOCK FACE HAS BADGE OF CHINESE LETTERING; 12 O'CLOCK FACE HAS SOUTHAMPTON COAT OF ARMS AND 3 O'CLOCK FACE HAS BADGE DEPICTING TWO PYRAMIDS, A CAMEL AND TWO TREES
