PLAQUE ONE: THIS HALL WAS ERECTED AS A MEMORIAL TO PERPETUATE/ THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF NORTHWICH WHO GAVE/ THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY IN THE/ LAST TWO WORLD WARS/ THE ERECTION OF THE HALL WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE/ GENEROUS FINANCIAL HELP AND ASSISTANCE GIVEN BY/ ALL SECTIONS OF THE COMMUNITY TO THE TRUSTEES/ OF NORTHWICH VICTORY MEMORIAL FUND COMMITTEE/ FORMED IN NOVEMBER 1945, WHO WERE/ (NAMES) PLAQUE TWO: NORTHWICH MEMORIAL HALL/ OPENED BY/ MAJOR SIR A.
