- Description
- The Grounds and Pavilion were originally funded by Edward Lake (Managing Director) and the employees of Greene King Brewery to give thanks for those employees who survived their military service in WW1 and to the return of all six of his sons plus to remember those employees who were killed. The memorial plaque originally displayed in the Pavilion was lost but has recently been found (WMR 100506)
