ELABORATE WALL MONUMENT FLANKED BY TWO PILASTERS FAMILY COAT OF ARMS ABOVE INSCRIPTION. EACH PILASTER SURMOUNTED BY AN ANGEL, HOLDING A SWORD (LEFT) AND A PALM FROND (RIGHT)

IN AFFECTIONATE REMEMBRANCE OF/ ROBERT LE MARCHANT M.A. - M.D./ OF THE ISLAND OF GUERNSEY/ 53 YEARS RECTOR OF THIS PARISH/ BORN 28TH OCTOBER 1819/ DIED 12TH FEBRUARY 1915/ AND OF ELIZA CATHERINE HIS WIFE/ DAUGHTER OF DANIEL TUPPER ESQ/ OF GUERNSEY BORN 21ST FEB 1828/ DIED 25TH SEPTEMBER 1907/ ALSO OF THREE OF THEIR/ DEARLY LOVED CHILDREN/ EDWARD HENRY BORN 30TH DEC 1853/ LIEUT COLONEL COMMANDING/ 1ST BAT.
