- A column with surmounting victory holding a sword point downwards and three relief panels on three stepped plinth and circular base with additional name panels. The reliefs represent service 'in the air' depicted by a pilot in cockpit, 'on land' depicted by soldiers marching off and 'at sea' depicted by sailors laying mines.

- 2009: Extensively refurbished after money was raised by public appeal through the Hasting branch of the RBL August 2007: Campaign launched to raise £163;60,000 towards costs of renovation. May 2007: Grade II listed 1991: Bronze plaques replaced, post WW2 names added and the memorial was completely renovated October 1990: Bronze plaques listing war dead stolen
