Description
Large gateway in the form of a triumphal arch. Arch has scrolled keystone and moulded imposts and the archway is flanked by pairs of columns. The dates 1914 1918 are carved in the spandrels and the WW1 names are placed on two stone tablets between each of the columns. A separate tablet for the WW2 names has been placed inside the archway. Wrought iron gates placed across the entrance.

History
2006: The Council applied for funding to repair the memorial through the English Heritage/Wolfson Foundation War Memorial Grant Scheme, proposed work included cleaning, re-pointing and replacing damaged stonework 1989: Weather damage to the moulded cornice and stone work joint were repaired in October at a cost of £120. The work was organised by the local branch of the Royal British Legion and paid for by the Parish Council.
