- Description
- A stone Latin Cross bearing a Sword of Sacrifice on the front face. It is set on a tapering shaft with moulded base set upon an octagonal plinth. The plinth is set upon a three-stepped octagonal base. The main inscription is on Face 1 of the plinth, WW 1 names are on faces 3, 5 and 7 of the plinth, WW 2 names on faces 2, 4, 6 and 8 of the plinth, and WW 2 civilian names are on faces 1, 2 and 8 of the top step. Main inscription and names all in lead lettering.
