- History
- Thirty seven names were inscribed to those who died in th great war, listed chronilogically and including dates of death, and reference also made to the 150 who returned. A further eight names were added following the Second World War. The memorial was cleaned in the 1960's, but regretably the original dates were not re-inscribed. This was rectified in August 1998 when the memorial was again cleaned and a beautiful garden of rest created together with a new pantile roofed lychgate over the entrance.
