- Description
- Life-sized figure of a First World War infantryman standing with his rifle butt resting by his feet and his hands resting over the muzzle. Figure surmounts a portland stone plinth and a base, with three bronze plaques mounted on the front face of the plinth, three bronze plaques on the rear face (with names incribed), and images carved into two sides. In front of this and flanking the sides are two portland stone pillars with bronze plaques on their front faces, inscribed with names from Second World War. All within a planted area.
