GIVING THANKS TO GOD FOR THE DEAR MEMORY / OF ROBIN ARTHUR WALTON WILLIAMS / LIEUTENANT 2ND KINGS OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT / INFANTRY. BORN AT PIGGOTS MANOR IN THIS / PARISH 11TH JANUARY 1893. KILLED IN ACTION / ON HILL 60 NR YPRES 18TH APRIL 1915. THIS BRASS IS / PLACED HERE BY HIS PARENTS GERALD WALTON AND / ANNIE JANE WILLIAMS. GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN / THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS.
