- Description
- An oblong bronze plaque originally on a white marble backboard. The plaque has a raised border of bound laurel sprigs and the inscription is in upright capital Roman lettering coloured white. At some later date the backboard was replaced by a plain wooden one with chamfered edges.

The memorial was removed and reinstalled at the new site. 1997: Post Office vacated former premises at the corner of Victoria St and St James St and moved to smaller premises nearby. The memorial was removed and reinstalled at the new site.
