Description
WHITE RECTANGULAR PLINTH SURMOUNTED BY THE CARVED BUST OF AN AMERICAN AIRMAN IN FLYING GEAR. MOUNTED ON PAVED PLATFORM WITH RAISED KERB. THERE IS A WREATH IN RELIEF ON THE FRONT FACE OF THE PLINTH. THE BADGE OF THE 8TH AIR FORCE IS CARVED IN RELIEF ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PLINTH. INSCRIPTION ON PLINTH IN BLACK LETTERING.
