- History
- 30 November 2018- The anchor bolts at the joint of the cross to the plinth are straining badly, and there is a substantial gap at this joint on the 6 o'clock face, with strain evident on the 12 o'clock face for that joint. Updates have been written both to the WMT and NEWMP as there are significant concerns here, and the risk of personal injury; The names were recut in c 2002, having weathered badly and are now (November 2018) good and sharp Photograph taken in July 2019 appears to show that the gap has been fixed and hopefully the risks noted above have been alleviated.
