- Summer 2012: Both plaques repainted royal blue with the lettering picked out in gold. April 2012: The gates were moved about 8m South of their original position to facilitate reconstruction of the adjacent car park. The gates are now at SK 34619 39624. 2004-5: Plaques removed and gateposts demolished. Posts rebuilt, gates rehung and refurbished plaques replaced. 1928: Gates and plaques added to recreation ground.
