At the base of the central light- He loved honour more than he feared death (ON BRASS PLAQUE BELOW WINDOW): TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF/ FRANK LUCAS/ CORPORAL 17TH BATT. MANCHESTER REGMT,/ FOR 12 YEARS A CHORISTER OF/ THE CHURCH, WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION/ AT GUILLEMONT, FRANCE 30 JULY 1916 AGED 23 YEARS/ THIS WINDOW WAS DEDICATED BY HIS LOVING PARENTS.
