- Wall mounted, landscape orientated incised stone tablets, enclosed by a moulded stone frame. Inscription infilled with black paint.

- WORLD WAR 1939-1945. / REMEMBER / SERGEANT CHARLES HENRY HILTON, / ROYAL AIR FORCE, OF YELDEN. / KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE / 24TH AUGUST 1943 / (CHILD'S NAME), AGED 14 YEARS. / (CHILD'S NAME), AGED 4 YEARS / OF YELDEN. / KILLED BY AN AIRCRAFT WHICH CRASHED / NEAR THIS CHURCH 24TH MARCH 1944. In memory o the men who died on the night of 24th March 1944 when Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress serial number 42-97578 of 422nd Squadron 305th Bomb Group crashed just north of Yelden Church.
