- Octagonal double plinth surmounted by tapering shaft and cross. The dedication to the Great War is on the South-West face, with the names spreading round the other seven faces. The name Lady Mary Gerard has been added above the dedication. The dedication to WW2 is on a narrower octagonal band above, and additional names have been inscribed above the year dates.
