THIS HALL WAS ERECTED IN A.D. 1923 TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN HUMBLE COMMEMORATION OF ALL THE MEMBERS OF ST. JAMES'S PARISH AND CONGREGATION WHO SERVED THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918. THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE. THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE FIGHTING FORCES ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE DEPOSITED IN THE CHURCH
