- 1920 the architect had originally presented a design for a memorial in the form of a classical temple.30 March 1983 Listed Grade II. FIELD WORK REPORT (1999) IS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ARCHITECTURAL SURVEY REPORT OF 1997 WHICH HIGHLIGHTS SERIOUS STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS MONUMENT, AND QUOTES A FIGURE OF £75,000 FOR THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. Repairs carried out in 2002.
