FOLIATE BORDER. AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE PLAQUE ARE DRAPED FLAGS AROUND A WREATH

- 1994: A REPLICA PLAQUE WAS CONSTRUCTED TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL WHICH WAS AT FIRST FOUND IN A SKIP FOLLOWING RENOVATIONS OF THE VICTORIA SQUARE POST OFFICE. IT WAS REPAIRED BUT AS IT WAS MADE OF GUN METAL IT WAS TOO HEAVY TO RE-HANG ON AN INTERNAL WALL. THE ORIGINAL IS NOW HELD IN THE POSTAL MUSEUM IN KIDDERMINSTER
