Description
A dedicatory tablet associated with the lower tier of three stained-glass windows in the south wall of the south nave transept, each of two lights.
Inscription
THE LOWER TIER OF THE ABOVE LIGHTS WAS FILLED WITH/ STAINED GLASS IN 1888 BY THE CORPS OF ROYAL ENGINEERS/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF/ MAJOR GENERAL CHARLES GEORGE GORDON C.B./ KILLED AT KHARTOUM 26TH JANRY 1885 ALSO OF/ CAPTAIN F. J. ROMILLY AND LIEUTENANT E. M. B. NEWMAN/ KILLED AT TOFREK. LIEUTENANT W. B.
