AND TWO BARS / WHOSE AIRCRAFT CRASH LANDED AT HORSMONDEN / IN 1940. / DWELLINGS SUBSEQUENTLY ERECTED NEAR THE SITE BY / MR H. J. (PETE) HIGHWOOD WERE NAMED TUCK / VILLAS TO COMMEMORATE THE WING-COMMANDER'S / ACHIEVEMENTS.
