- Description
- Ornate tracery iron gates supported by two brick pillars. Dedicatory bronze plaques affixed to each pillar. Gold cross in the upper centre of each gate. R.E.M.E. badges at the top of the plaques above the inscription.

- North plaque:- To the Glory of God and in / memory of 52 N.C.O’s / and men of 6 (Guards) Tank / Brigade Workshop. R.E.M.E. / who were killed by enemy / action at Charing Heath on / 24. June 1944. South plaque:- These gates were erected / on behalf of the Lenham / Parish Council by the / R.E.M.E. Association / and dedicated on 29. Nov. 1964. / In a communal grave within / this Cemetery lie the remains / of 46 of the men who lost / their lives.
