BRASS PLAQUE SET INTO A MARBLE BASE WHICH IN TURN IS SET INTO THE WALL. WHOLE IS SURROUNDED BY STONE MOULDINGS. INCISED INSCRIPTION BADGE OF THE LIVERPOOL PALS BATTALION IN RELIEF AT THE TOP CENTRE OF THE PLAQUE AND BADGE OF THE KING'S (LIVERPOOL REGIMENT) IS AT THE BASE CENTRE OF THE PLAQUE. EACH IS FLANKED BY A RELIEF DESIGN WHICH IS HARD TO DISTINGUISH FROM THE PHOTO
