ORNATE BRASS PLAQUE WITH RED LINE BORDERING IT SET INTO A SLATE TABLET WITH STONE MOULDINGS. INCISED INSCRIPTION ON THE PLAQUE SET WITHIN THE SLATE TABLET IS A GARLAND FLAKING THE PLAQUE. IT IS CONNECTED AT THE TOP WITH A WREATH INSIDE WHICH IS THE BADGE OF THE CHESHIRE REGIMENT. BEHIND IT IS A CROSSED SWORD AND ?TORCH. BELOW THE PLAQUE, ALSO SET WITH THE SLATE IS A CIRCLE WITH LETTERNIG WITHIN IT
