Dark grey granite memorial Celtic cross with the subject's regimental badge and unit incised at the crossing, on a tapered shaft on a battered plinth, set on a square sandstone base. The incised inscription is on the plinth. This is one of two similar Formby Volunteers Boer War Memorial Crosses in Formby - the other is in Our Lady's churchyard (WMR 99237).
