Description
A three-stepped base surmounted by a three-tiered octagonal column and cross. The lower tier has the incised names of the theatres of war and the great battles. The names of the fallen are incised on the middle tier. A brick wall surrounds the whole with tablets commemorating the fallen of the Second World War on either side of the entrance. A crest on the lower part of the front face of the upper tier. Beneath this, is a carved foliate design.
