Description

Wall mounted ornate rectangular-headed framework incorporating four portrait orientated tablets. Inscription in relief at base of frame. Each tablet contains incised names infilled with black enamel paint. Crucifix in relief at centre of frame, foliate designs around the borders. Shields at the left & right base corners.

Tablets : (65 NAMES) / Framework : TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF / THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918. / " GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT / A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS "
