- Description
- Two-stepped octagonal base surmounted by an octagonal four sectioned column, topped by a spire. Statues (St. George, Fortitude and Sympathy) in niches in the middle section and carvings (foliate garlands) below the upper section. Great War inscription in raised gold coloured lettering. Portrait orientated tablets on each plinth face display incised WW1 names. Landscape orientated tablets on each lower plinth faces display incised WW2 inscription and names. Other incised conflict inscriptions and names on eighth tablet.
