- Description
- Pitch-roofed arched memorial stands within a rectangular metal fenced enclosure with three bronze lamp standards at each of the corners. The main structure consists of a cusped archway framing a Latin cross mounted on a raised inner platform. Inscription plaques on front faces of arch & beneath platform. On the rear face of the memorial are bronze plaques within a canopied shrine.

- UNKNOWN: AN INSCRIBED METAL PLAQUE WAS ORIGINALLY PLACED ON THE RISER OF THE STEP FROM THE PAVEMENT TO THE MEMORIAL. WHEN THE PAVEMENT WAS RAISED TO THE LEVEL OF THE MEMORIAL THE PLAQUE WAS REMOVED AND PLACED ON THE FLAT SURFACE OF THE MEMORIAL
