Description
Tall tapered portland stone cross set on an octagonal ring tapered plinth formed of four arms with pyramidal caps at the end of each of them. Below this is a cornice set over the inscription panels which have been placed on the sides of a chamfered cross-plan plinth. Inscription in black lettering on the names panels and dedicatory inscription carved in relief. Memorial garden was placed around the cross in 1921.

History
1985: Memorial cleaned 6 Dec. 1989. Listed Grade II. 1993: Plan to carry out condition survey of the memorial to see if any work needs to be done. 2001: Memorial was restored. Work carried out involved moss and lichen being cleaned from the panels by steam cleaning and water pressure. A biocide solution was used to stop the moulds recurring. Legibility of the names was also restored and missing letters repainted. Where mortar was missing the memorial was repointed. Finally, three more Second World War names were added to the memorial
