- Description
- Wall mounted, landscape orientated marble tablet with a buff coloured moulded inner frame, an ornately coloured middle border and dark marble outer frame. Incised inscription infilled in black. Middle border decoration consists of a green wavy line & a green straight line, infilled in red alternating with green. A further two blue lines flanks this border.

NEVINSON RECTOR OF MEDBOURNE, AND ETHEL MARY, HIS WIFE / BORN AT LYNDON RECTORY, DECEMEBR 1ST 1891. / SEVERELY WOUNDED IN AN ATTACK ON THE TURKISH TRENCHES / AT THE DARDANELLES, JUNE 4TH 1915. / DIED ON THE HOSPITAL SHIP "SOMALI", JUNE 5TH 1915. / BURIED AT SEA. / "A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST."
