Description

RECTANGULAR BRASS PLAQUE WITH ENGRAVED BLACK AND RED LETTERING AND BLACK BORDER EACH CORNER IS DECORATED WITH A BLACK CIRCLE INSIDE WHICH IS A TRUNCATED RED IONA CROSS WITH BRASS SCREW IN THE CENTRE. INCISED INSIGNIA OF THE BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE PLAQUE. BETWEEN THE MAIN INSCRIPTION AND THE FINAL LINE IS A BLACK INCISED LINE WITH A CENTRAL BLACK QUATREFOIL FLOWER
