- STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH LIGHTS AND TRACERY, BOTH WITH FIGURES IN THEM. THE GENERAL THEME IS GODS BLESSING ON THE SACRIFICE OF THE FALLEN IN THE UPPER LIGHTS OVER THE TRANSOM JESUS REIGNS FROM THE CROSS OF GLORY AND GIVES HIS BENEDICTION TO SPIRITUAL HEREOS AND CONQUERORS. ON HIS RIGHT HAND ARE REPRESENTATIVES OF GREAT BRITAIN, AUSTRALIA, PORTUGAL, BELGIUM, CANADA, SOUTH AFRICA AND INDIA. ON HIS LEFT HAND ARE THOSE OF FRANCE, THE UNITED STATES, ITALY, JAPAN, ROUMANIA AND SERBIA. IN THE LOWER LIGHTS THE TE DEUM IS SYMBOLISED AS A THANKSGIVING FOR DELIVERANCE. THE PROPHETS OF THE TE DEUM ARE REPRESENTED BY DANIEL, ELIJAH AND ST JOHN THE BAPTIST, THE APOSTLES BY ST PETER, ST JOHN THE DIVINE AND ST JAMES MAJOR, THE MARTYRS BY ST JEROME, ST GREGORY AND ST AUGUSTINE. IN THE CENTRE LIGHT A GROUP OF ANGELS HOLD A SCROLL WITH INSCRIPTION. THE NINE ORDERS OF THE ANGELS ARE SHOWN INTHE TRACERY: ARCHANGELS, CHERUBIM, SERAPHIM, THRONES, DOMINONS, VIRTUES, PRINCIPALITIES, POWERS, ANGELS AND THE SYMBOLS ALPHA AND OMEGA. THE HOLY SPIRIT DESCENDS IN THE FORM OF A DOVE AND EMBRACES THE WHOLE COMPOSITION

- ON THE SCROLL IN THE CENTRE LIGHT OF THE WINDOW: MAKE THEM TO BE NUMBERED WITH THY SAINTS / THOSE WHOM THIS WINDOW COMMEMORATES ARE AMONG THOSE WHO, AT THE CALL OF KING AND COUNTRY, LEFT ALL THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURING HARDSHIP, FACING DANGER, AND FINALLY PASSED OUT OF SIGHT OF MAN BY THE PATH OF DUTY AND SELF-SACRIFICE, GIVING UP THEIR OWN LIVES THAT OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM. LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER SEE TO IT THAT THEIR NAMES BE NOT FORGOTTEN BASE OF CENTRE LIGHT: NOW ORDER THE RANKS AND FLING WIDE THE / BANNERS FOR OUR SOULS ARE GOD'S AND / OUR BODIES THE KING'S, AND OUR SWORDS / FOR SAINT GEORGE AND FOR ENGLAND
