Description
A three light stained glass window with five further panels in the tracery of the pointed arch head, the uppermost of which contains a badge of the RAF. The three lights contain images of saints with groups of service personal and civilians at the foot. The inscription is in upright Gothic lettering on a scroll across the foot of the three lights.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED AS A MEMORIAL TO LEUTENANT ARTHUR NOEL EYRE, R A F, KILLED IN ACTION SEPT. 26TH 1918 Tracery RAF badge: PER ARDUA AD ASTRA Tracery double panel: THE LORD IS MY ROCK AND MY FORTRESS/ THE LORD WILL BLESS HIS PEOPLE WITH PEACE Left light, ST GEORGE/ ST OSWALD Centre light: CHRIST THE/ KING OF PEACE Right light: ST EDMUND/ ST OSWI Across foot of all three lights: To the Glory of God this window is erected/ as a memorial to Lieutenant Arthur Noel Eyre/ R A F killed in action Sept. 26th. 1918
