Description
A limestone monument comprising a crucifix on a pillar above an octagonal pedestal and base steps. The carved crucifix has a ragged cross embellished with sprays of foliage and surmounts a tapering octagonal pillar. The pedestal has moulded upper and lower edges and each face bears a carved coat of arms upon a panel of tracery with recessed ground. The base has three plain dressed ashlar steps above a lower step which is itself made up of an upper ledge or capstone, a central frieze bearing the inscription, and a lower moulded plinth.
