Description
Red alabaster panels mounted in borders of light green marble and capped by a green marbel canopy. Below the canopy over teh centre panel is a white marble crucifix set into a deep red stone oval with gilded edges, surrounded by filded palm wreaths. Above each of the flanking panels are the Union Flag and White Ensign, both carved and coloured with gilded crown above. Below the centre panel is the carved and coloured Arms of Berkhampstead supported by gilded leaves.
