Description
A plain rectangular white stone tablet in a mottled brown alabaster frame. Frame comprises a plain sub-frame with moulded edge adjacent to the tablet and set in an elaborate outer frame. Outer frame comprises rectangular pilasters with carved foliated panels, surmounted by a moulded cornice below a plain frieze with carved laurel wreaths at each side and a larger nowy-headed moulded cornice containing a carved shield, with red cross of St George, and mantling at the head. The foot of the frame comprises an inverted moulded cornice above a plain frieze and two foliated carved brackets. The lower frieze contains, at its centre, a rectangular tablet with moulded borders. Inscriptions are incised in upright capital lettering coloured black.
