The battered square polished die or pedestal has a bevelled top and the WW1 names on the 6, 9 and 3 o'clock faces. The square plinth is finely dressed but not polished and has a bevelled top, and the square base is rough hewn. The gilded incised inscriptions are in upright capital block lettering.
