- 2018 name of C Langtry added to memorial 2012 July name of Lt A G Horwood VC, DCM added to WW2 names. 2008: The stone pillars on the memorial were damaged when a man climbed on the memorial. The man was charged by police. 2006: WW2 name of LCpl P Perry added 2006: Name of a WW2 casualty, Lance Coporal Phillip Perry, RAOC, who died in a Japanese POW camp but was omitted from the memorial, was added in April 2004: To be cleaned by the town council in MArch
