Description
Three-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth incorporating a moulded, shallow lower section & taller upper section with chamfered top edges. Rising from the plinth is a square based column transposing into a slightly tapering octagonal sectioned column terminating with a moulded annulus capital & wheel cross. Cross aspect takes the form of a plain Maltese cross-like design. WW2 tablet slopes across upper step, resting on the middle step at front. Incised inscriptions on plinth face & tablet. The whole memorial stands back from roadside pavement within a roughly semi-circular kerbed area bounded by a vertical metal railing fence to the rear.
