- CONCRETE BASE SURMOUNTED BY TWO SHALLOW STEPS. THESE ARE SURMOUNTED BY A PEDESTAL UPON WHICH IS THE OBELISK. RUBBLE WALL WITH RAISED POINTING AT THE REAR AND TO THE SIDES OF THE MEMORIAL. ORNAMENTED CHAIN AROUND THE WHOLE SITE A WREATH IN RELIEF IS AT THE TOP OF THE OBELISK ON ALL FOUR SIDES
