- Description
- A 5m high pillar surmounted by a short armed cross. Constructed from 25 courses of rough dressed granite. The 2m base is trapezoidal with buttresses at each corner. The shaft and cross are square section. The inscription and names of fallen are on smooth rectangles of dressed granite. built into the courses. The inscription and 1939-45 names are on the east side of the shaft. The 1914-1919 names are on the west side of the shaft. Time capsule in the base of the memorial.
